The owner and producer, Darryl Girard, has been composing, arranging, and producing music for television, radio, industrial videos, and independent artists for 20 years. Various works have received national airplay and some have received ADDY and Katie awards. Chanson Records utilizes a very comfortable and well organized home studio which should NOT be confused with a “typical” home studio. The premium analog and digital equipment ( including Neumann mics, Manley preamps, PMC monitors, Crane Song AD/DA converters, etc.) is what you would find in any world class facility used by major record labels. Top notch instruments include a highly maintained  7’ Yamaha piano, PRS and Taylor guitars, and an Earnie Ball Sterling electric bass. The philosophy here is: “A project is not finished until the client is happy with it”. Your music should sound like YOUR music and should not utilize a “cookie-cutter” approach. Whatever your style, whether it’s pure and warm acoustic or cutting edge electronic sounds, you can get the job done well in this studio.
